Top of Hanoi

A rooftop bar worth trying, with the highest view cafe in the city, Top of Hanoi lies on the 67th floor of Lotte Hotel on Lieu Giai Street – a very familiar area for expats as well as locals. For first timer, you need to take Lotte Hotel’s elevator to 65th floor, then switch to another elevator to reach 67th floor.

Top of Hanoi has both luxurious, classy indoor and outdoor space – a true ideal place to escape the world and enjoy Hanoi’s beauty from above.

Given the bar’s location, the price will hurt your wallet for sure. Drinks here cost 150-200k each, 3 times higher than other places. The service is worth it though.

Address: 54 phố Liễu Giai, quận Ba Đình | 65F, Rooftop, Lotte Hotel Hanoi, Hanoi

Price: 150-200k, 6-8 USD/ person

Skyline Hanoi

Lying in the heart of Old Quarter but Skyline is not noisy at all. The bar gives you a super-nice view of central Hanoi whether day or night, especially the sunset when the sun goes down and the new city lights up. Decoration is also a bonus point of the place. However, the price seems a bit pricey compared to other random places.

Price: 70-150k VND

Address: 11th floor, 38 phố Gia Ngư, quận Hoàn Kiếm, Hanoi

Located on the 26th floor of Hei Tower on Nguy Nhu Kon Tum Street in Thanh Xuan District, the café is considered one of the hottest coffee shops in Hanoi for young locals, though it’s probably still a hidden gem for expats and tourists in town. The place is a combination of cafe, swimming pool and gym. Outdoor space is decorated quite “chill” with colorful pillow cushions, beautiful urban vases, handmade flowers in pleasant green and white tone.

Serein Cafe & Lounge

Dubbed as “Long Bien District’s best café shop for deep selfie”, Serein is no doubt a favorite place for both locals and tourists to enjoy some nice coffee while taking pictures of its glamorous view. Lying on the 3rd and 4th floors of the old French colonial mansion in the Long Bien Apartment Complex on Tran Nhat Duat Street, Serein Cafe owns a luxurious view of bustling lives around Long Bien Historical Bridge.

Looking from the outside, Serein Cafe stands out with its elegant white tones, while the interior is dominated by classic brownish dark tones. From the tables and chairs to the decorations of the 1960s and 1970s, the Western style makes everyone feel like “floating” in a Parisian cafe.
